View of a beach in Tulum, MexicoIt’s Spring break in the Yucatan Peninsula and we are excited to meet you on the beautiful beaches of Tulum. Tulum is home of ancient Mayan ruins that loom over some of the world’s loveliest beaches and most inviting, clear tropical waters.

Tulum ruins of ancient buildings constructed of stone.Every morning you can open your body, mind and spirit with Anusara® yoga led by certified teacher, Peggy Profant. Meanwhile the children will be engaged with Christine McArdle-Oquendo in a program of Bilingual Yoga, Mayan mythology, nature and meditation. Afterwards, breakfast will be ready to fuel you for the day ahead. There will be options to go horseback riding, Scuba in the barrier reef, snorkeling, horseback riding and other oceanic adventures. This trip includes a tour of the Tulum ruins. If you are interested, a trip to Chichan Itza can be arranged. In the evening we will have another more restorative yoga practice offered for the adults while the children go off on another adventure with Christine. A nourishing Mexican meal will be served as the evening unfolds to into star gazing and relaxation. At the end of our week together Christine and the children offer us all a delightful presentation a sweet way of sharing some of their week’s beauty and magic.

Beachside accomodations at Uno Astro Lodge

We have chosen the Uno Astro Lodge as a our retreat center for it’s easy beach access, sweet accommodations fine organic cuisine and because it comes so highly recommended for what we do at World Family Yoga.

This is a small, family run center with 5 tropical style bungalows, 2 Native American Tipis and possible camping options.
